The Silver Age: I watched The Avengers last night

eternity-and-a-day:

I hate to say it, but that was one of the worst superhero movies I’ve ever seen. By the time they captured Loki I got really bored. I really don’t understand how it got to be the third best selling movie ever or the direction Marvel’s going in. There’s what, 3 new…

This post gave me diabetes and a case of the stupid. If it wasn’t written by a 14 year old then they just need to shut up.

Oh em gee unnecessary DC/Marvel rivalry!

Oh em gee Le Dark Knight wuz so kewl!

Oh em gee I love sucking Christopher
Nolan’s dick! Only he could make Batman TOO FUCKING BROODY!

OMG DC IS SO KAWAIIIIIIII

Omg Man uv Still iz be liek bess movie ever EVEN THOUGH IT’S NOT EVEN FUCKING OUT YET

Go be stupid somewhere else.

What’s the matter? Bothered by my opinion so you resort to name calling? The only stupidity here is in your response. I’m sorry if you don’t like my opinion, but I am entitled to it as you are entitled to yours. No, I am not a 14 year old. I am a mature adult who has been a lifelong superhero fan. While I do like superhero movies with lots of action, I also like them to be deep and focus on the story and characters. Christopher Nolan is a genius and every movie he makes is mind bending. With The Dark Knight trilogy he created a series of psychological thrillers that just happened to be about my favorite superhero. IMO, directors all over should use Nolan as an archetype of how films should be made. Filming ON FILM, using minimal CGI to make it as realistic as possible, filming in IMAX, not taking up major time at the beginning with introductions, just going straight into the story, and telling a thought provoking story that may or may not mess with your mind. This is not just how all superhero movies should be made, IMO, but how movies in general should be made. Marvel has obviously done anything but this with their movies, instead just going with more and more action and effects but sacrificing story. I’m sorry, but the Avengers was just plain boring. I’m sorry if all it takes to hold your interest is flashy effects and big explosions, but for me  it takes a little more than that.

I watched The Avengers last night

I hate to say it, but that was one of the worst superhero movies I’ve ever seen. By the time they captured Loki I got really bored. I really don’t understand how it got to be the third best selling movie ever or the direction Marvel’s going in. There’s what, 3 new Marvel movies a year, and they’re not that great in terms of story. Just explosions explosions and more explosions. DC’s movies are so much better. Much better story and more interesting characters. Man of Steel will be the greatest Superman movie ever made, The Dark Knight trilogy was the greatest trilogy ever made, the second movie being THE greatest movie ever made, and hopefully, if Christopher Nolan has any involvement with the Justice League movie, it will be 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 times better than The Avengers.

Well I officially won’t be watching Amazing Spider-Man 2

I just found out that Jamie Foxx is going to be playing Electro in the sequel to Amazing Spider-Man. I now have no intention of watching that movie. I will not watch anything with Jamie Foxx in it, not after he called Barack Obama “our lord and savior.” I consider him to be an insult to Christians everywhere, and as a Christian, I will stand up for what’s right and will not be watching any movie with him in it, even one about a character that has been my second favorite superhero since I was a little kid. Thanks Jamie Foxx for ruining Spider-Man for me!!!
